Terms of Service

1. General information only — not financial advice

PropertyPath provides general information, educational tools and modelling. It does not provide personal financial product advice, credit assistance, taxation advice or property advice, and nothing on the service should be taken as a recommendation to acquire, dispose of or hold any property, loan, financial product or other investment.

Any information is general in nature only and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on it you should consider its appropriateness having regard to your own circumstances and obtain advice from a licensed financial adviser, mortgage broker, accountant or other appropriate professional. We are not licensed to provide, and do not hold ourselves out as providing, financial product advice under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or credit assistance under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth).

2. Estimates, data accuracy and no reliance

Figures shown are estimates produced by simplified calculators from indicative, dated datasets, and may not reflect current market conditions, your actual lender’s policies, or the final costs of any transaction. Suburb data in particular is illustrative until live ingestion is in place. You must independently verify any figure — for example with your lender, conveyancer and the relevant revenue office — before relying on it. 3. Eligibility & acceptable use

• The service is intended for residents of Australia who are 18 or older.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account secure.
• You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorisation, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Accounts & your data

Sign-in is optional and handled by Auth0. Without an account, your plan stays in your browser. With an account, plans and portfolios you choose to save are stored against your account. Our handling of personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The PropertyPath software, design, content and modelling are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Third-party data feeds remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their terms.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that figures are accurate, complete or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on figures or content provided through the service.

7. Changes to the service & these terms

We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, and may amend these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law & contact
